Periodic Facade Inspection, without the scaffold.

Why drones for PFI

Under BCA’s periodic facade inspection regime, buildings over 13 metres and 20 years old must be inspected every seven years. Gondola and rope-access inspection is slow, disruptive and risky — we capture every elevation with high-resolution drone imagery, map findings against your drawings, and hand your competent person a defect register ready for submission.

  • Defects tagged, classified and located on elevation drawings
  • No disruption to occupants, tenants or site operations
  • Repeatable flight paths — like-for-like comparison across inspection cycles
  • Full imagery archive retained for dispute and claims support
